
Carpal tunnel syndrome is numbness, tingling sensation, weakness and other problems in hand due to pressure on median nerve on your wrist.
What are the Cause of this?
There are multiple causes of this syndrome and as below.
1. Hypothyroidism.
2. Rheumatoid arthritis.
3. Diabetes
4. Repeated movements of the wrist.
5. Pregnancy.
Symptoms most often occurs on thumb, middle and ring finger.
How this can be treated?
Stop activities that causes numbness and pain.
Apply ice to wrist for 15 min.
Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs for pain relief.
Apply wrist splint.
